It's name: Scanner Pro, by Readdle. (iOS)
My photography skills aren’t that great. It’s something I completely acknowledge and wish I could do something about, but I have too much to do every day, so it’s not something I’ll probably ever master.
The biggest problem I find I have with my images is white balance. In other words: getting the white to look like it looks in real life.
Incandescent lighting can turn whites yellow. Even outdoor filtered light coming in through a window can make white objects look slightly yellow in a photo. It can also make blues look green, pinks look orange, and grays look brownish. :-(
However, this little scanner app seems to take care of the problem. I've only figured this out by experimenting a bit, so I have no idea why it works. It's just something I stumbled upon and I'm so glad I did.
Check out these before (taken with iPhone) and after (taken with Scanner Pro) slideshows to see just how much better Scanner Pro's shots are than those taken with the iPhone's default camera. The differences are dramatic!

Not only that, but...
This scanner app is sooo much faster to use than our desktop beast. I can scan anything on-the-go: on a jobsite, a client meeting, at home. Then I save it to my photo library on my phone and then email or text it to anyone. Even when I’m in the office with my large copier/scanner on the desk behind me, I use this app instead. And that — I feel — says a lot about how great this thing is. I highly recommend it. ;-)
