Celebrity chef Paula Deen owns a gorgeous waterfront home, known as “Riverbend”, just outside of Savannah, Georgia.
Paula Deen’s Savannah estate includes the 14,500 square foot main home in a French Carribean style, two cottages, and a 10,000 square foot barn (boasting several guest rooms, an eight car garage, and a chicken coop!).
She previously gushed to Oprah that Riverbend was her dream home, however she recently listed the estate for sale for $12M. She told People magazine that with her busy schedule she’s looking to sell because “she wants an easier and simpler life”.

Here are a few of our favorite things about this Paula’s sprawling waterfront estate:
The Kitchen
Obviously we can’t spotlight a celebrity chef and not rave about her kitchen! The main focal point is the huge double oven and rage with a beautiful copper range. Instead of a center island she has a long wooden farm table that makes the kitchen feel warm and inviting.
Along with the large cabinets and commercial grade appliances, her gourmet kitchen includes a large butler’s pantry that offers massive amounts of storage. We love the rolling ladder that allows access to additional storage with shelves up to the ceiling.

The Pool
The outdoor space of Paula’s estate is gorgeous with plush greenery everywhere and fantastic views. Fitting right in is the beautiful back porch decked out with a salt-water pool stocked with fish. Not only that, the pool becomes a dive-in movie theater with a high quality screen that pops up at the push of a button.

Wilmington River
Her estate is located on 5.5 acres with waterfront access to the Wilmington River. Below are two photos of her private dock that contains a fully equipped outdoor kitchen house. The sunset below is breathtaking and makes us want to be on the water right now!
