Celebrity Homes: The Los Angeles Home of Melissa Joan Hart

Were you one of the many who grew up watching Melissa Joan Hart on Clarissa Explains it All, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and most recently Melissa and Joey? Now she’s all grown up with a family of her own. Her and her husband, musician Mark Wilkerson, recently bought a new Los Angeles home, right across from the CBS Studios and the decor does not disappoint.

While the home might look like a traditional cottage on the outside, it’s had a fresh and modern makeover on the inside. Here are some of our favorite features in Melissa’s home:

The Boys’ Rooms

The rooms of Melissa’s three boys are so fun and colorful. The younger two share the blue room. We love the mix of blues paired with orange accents. Her older son is in the animal themed green room. The best part is the texture found in the bedding and in the wallpaper.

The Kitchen

Melissa has a white wonderland of a kitchen, and its gorgeous. The custom cabinets maximize space by reaching all the way to ceiling. We love that the small cabinets on top have glass-paneled doors to showcase dishes. The white-grey marble counter tops are perfect up against the light blue-grey back splash.

Casual Dining

The dining area off the kitchen has a casual modern dining table perfect for family meals (and homework!). We love how one side backs up to a comfortable looking padded bench against the wall.

The Bathrooms

We’re obsessed with the bathrooms in Melissa’s home. The boys’ bathroom is so fun, done in green, blue, and white in the tiling of the shower and the counter top. The master bathroom has the most gorgeous spacious walk-in shower. It’s tiled from floor to ceiling with two small windows that let in light. Our favorite part is the two shower heads, one traditional and one from the ceiling for maximum shower coverage!
