Actor Jeremy Renner, best known for “The Hurt Locker”, “The Bourne Legacy” and “The Avengers” series, is also known for his house flipping skills.
He partners with his “Hurt Locker” co-star, Kristoffer Winters, and together the pair has redone and sold about a dozen houses over last decade. Their latest project is a 1920s Hollywood Hills home located just below the popular Runyon Canyon hiking trail. They purchased the home in 2009 for $1.35 million and have it listed on the market now for a whopping $4.795 million!
The home has 5 bedrooms and six bedrooms and is known for it’s old style, which they restored it to while adding modern touches. It also has a separate fully functional guest house.
Here’s a look at our favorite parts of their remodel:
The Kitchen
The eat-in kitchen in this remodel is gorgeous. There is an enormous Viking refrigerator and a La Cornue range and hood.
The “Grand Room”
The living room, also known as the “grand room”, is 1,800 square foot of space! It includes a raised bar area with the original copper-topped bar, which they had restored, and is surrounded by brick accents. It also includes a sunken living area with a marble fireplace, wood beamed ceilings, and plenty of comfortable seating.
The Outdoor Space
The house has a large rooftop terrace, and patios attached to several of the bedrooms, and fantastic city views.
The backyard space is very tranquil with plush greenery and gurgling fountains. It’s the perfect for leisurely sitting one of the patios and relaxing with a cocktail in hand.
