Vinyl click plank flooring can be taken apart and washed if needed. This can be useful if a serious flood were to occur, or clean it and store it for the winter.  Glue down installations can be used if the chance of flooding is low and you don't want the hassle of having to take it apart at any time. Just be sure you use a strong, waterproof adhesive so it will stay for years to come!
